Learning objectives:

  1. Understand why this challenge is becoming more prevalent.

  2. Gain ideas for influencing in the absence of positional authority.  

  3. Create actions for increasing effectiveness.

Maureen Holstein Bio:

Maureen Holstein leads the Continuous Improvement Office at Creighton University.   Prior to this role, her career was spent in a corporate setting, most recently as Vice President of Planning and Reporting for a major company in Omaha.   Her experience includes process improvement, operations leadership, client relations, regulatory compliance, product development, organizational design, team building and strategy facilitation.   She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Scrummaster, and Myers-Briggs® facilitator with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.   For the past 30 years she has been an active volunteer with many local and national organizations such as Junior Achievement, Kicks for a Cure, and Make-A-Wish.
