The fifth (of five) PMBOK Process Groups is “Closing” and the first is “Initiating.” If each year is viewed as a project (or project phase), then November is an appropriate time to ‘close’ our chapter’s 2017 project/phase and to ‘initiate’ 2018’s. To that end, we invite you to join us on Wednesday, 15 November, as we reflect upon the professional development lessons we have learned from this past year. Additionally, we see this as an opportunity to share ideas about professional development priorities for 2018, with the hope that you will collaborate with us and help to ensure that the guest facilitators we schedule next year will provide the value that you deserve.
- Review professional development highlights from the various monthly luncheons (we want an interactive dialogue…did you draw the same lessons that we present?)
- Discuss general trends within the project management field and the Greater Omaha community
- Offer professional development themes and priorities for 2018 and facilitate an interactive discussion with the audience to focus current thinking and generate new ideas
