Hello Members and Subscribers, and Visitors!
BOARD UPDATE: Please join me in thanking Brandon Rinck, who has been serving as Vice President, for all his efforts and contributions to our Chapter over the past three years. Brandon is enjoying great success in his career and needed to resign so he can continue being successful. The board and I will now be conducting a search for a Vice President candidate to appoint and who can serve through December 2019. If you are interested to learn more or wish to be considered for appointment, please email me.
Please join me in welcoming Michelle Huber who will begin transitioning to the Chapter leadership team, serving as Director Workshops for 2018.
PMI HEARTLAND SHOPTALKS: The next Shoptalk coming soon is being planned for October at U.S. Strategic Command! Registration will be posted and opened when the details have been finalized. Also in the works, there will be two Shoptalks in November, on at Nebraska Medicine on November 2 (postponed from September) and at TD Ameritrade on November 16. Shoptalks are exclusive for chapter members and a true benefit of membership to go behind the scenes of a local company’s project management operations and culture.
CHAPTER MILESTONE: Next year, 2018, will be the Chapter’s 25-year anniversary of being an incorporated and chartered chapter of PMI. The board begins 2018 strategic planning starting October 9, 2017 and would love to have your participate in planning for celebrating this significant milestone. Please contact any board member to contribute your 25-year chapter anniversary ideas.
