Notification of Annual Elections and Call for Board Nominations

The annual Election of members to the PMI Heartland Board of Directors will take place on September 16 through September 30, 2020. Nominations are being accepted for the following Board positions to the January 2021 - December 2022 term.

  • Vice President, Professional Development
  • Vice President, Programs
  • Vice President, Membership

To submit your nomination, please email your responses to the following questions by or before 11:59 pm on August 14, 2020, to Carol Danigole at registrations@pmiheartland.org with NOMINATION in the subject.

Election

On September 16, 2020, voting-eligible PMI Heartland members will receive an email with a web link URL along with a unique user ID and password. Receipt of electronic ballots will conclude on September 30, 2020, with election results announced by October 14, 2020, on the chapter’s website.

 

Positions due for Election

President: The President shall be the chief executive officer for PMIH and of the Board, and shall perform such duties as are customary for presiding officers, including making all required appointments with the approval of the Board. The Chapter President shall also serve as a member ex‐officio with the right to participate and vote on all committees except the Nominating and Election Committee. Additionally, the President shall be responsible for the administration and oversight of PMIH Bylaws and policies.

Vice President, Professional Development:  Responsible for PMIH for professional development programs to include, but not limited to, PMI credential exam preparation and recognition, community, and educational outreach, and mentoring.

Vice President, Programs:  Responsible for PMIH programs, workshops, professional development meetings, registration, and sponsorship.

Vice President, Membership:  Responsible for membership administration, member recruitment and retention, member onboarding, and member recognition and volunteers.
